Priest PVP

When it comes to Priest PVP, the best build you can go with to inflict the most amount of damage is a Shadow Priest PVP build…any other spec with the priest and you’re likely to get your butt handed to you.  Given that, here’s an optimal build which will get you started on the right track..

Now here’s a lvl 80 shadow priest pvp build you’re going to want to follow, which will yield good results (20/0/51):

Now despite the shadow priest being one of the best overall PVP classes, just having the right priest PVP talent spec is obviously not going to be enough.  With that said, here are a few tips which will help you out in your arena battles:

Vs. Warriors

  • Watch out for shield bearing warriors, they’re probably spec’d Protection and can keep you stunned or silenced 50% of the time.
  • Keep your Power Word: Shield up as much as you can..This will keep the Warrior from gaining Rage as they will not be able to inflict damage.

Vs. Rogues

  • Keep Inner Fire and Fortitude on and try to stay alive through the initial assault with your shield.
  • Cast Psychic Scream ASAP, apply DOTs + Fear.
  • If the Rogue ever vanishes, start bandaging yourself and get your shield back up because the fight is about to start all over again.

Vs. Mages

  • These guys can really burst and blow you up good if you’re not careful..counter this by making sure you have them crowd controlled as much as possible.
  • DPS as much as possible , make sure to use your shield every 15 seconds and also, cast Mana Burn when you can.
  • Use fear to keep a frost mage’s water elemental under control.
